For the EP//M live brief, we created BargainBuddy, an app helping students find local deals. The brief emphasized user-centred design (UCD), UX, and UI, with themes like finance and work-life balance.
We chose BargainBuddy for its catchy, approachable name. The logo, featuring a price tag and pin, symbolizes deal-finding. Inspired by CityMapper and UniDays, we designed a clean, intuitive interface. Using Poppins for readability and a red-green palette for contrast, we prioritized simplicity in wireframes with maps and pop-ups for easy navigation. Our final presentation effectively showcased the app’s research, branding, and UX benefits.
