For the Translate+Transform brief, I explored the concept of translation beyond language, focusing on the visual representation of historical events. The task required developing a system to translate information into a new visual form, mapping the process clearly.
I chose to represent key historical events through color palettes, selecting shades that symbolized their mood and significance. These palettes were then transformed into abstract patterns, creating a visual language that allows viewers to interpret history in a unique, intuitive way. The project demonstrated how color and abstraction can communicate complex narratives without words.
