For the D&AD New Blood Awards brief by eBay, I created ‘green’, a modern, eco-friendly platform to attract Gen Z sellers. eBay’s outdated interface and tedious process push Gen Z toward Depop and Facebook Marketplace, despite their interest in sustainability.
green simplifies selling with an easy-to-use interface, in-app messaging, and scheduled pickups via electric vans—no post office queues or printed labels. Sellers receive reusable packaging, and for every item sold, a hemp tree is planted, gamifying sustainability.
By making secondhand selling effortless, social, and eco-conscious, green transforms eBay into a Gen Z-friendly marketplace that’s both trendy and impactful.
