For the ‘Pick, Pack, Sell!’ brief, I designed DIY product packaging for screws, pins, and hooks, targeting students moving into new homes. My goal was to make DIY more accessible and engaging, moving away from the dull, male-oriented aesthetic.
Through research, I found millennials avoid DIY, so I took inspiration from youth-focused brands like Red Bull and ASOS. Initially, I explored a screw-based theme but later rebranded to ‘Easy Fix’, using a bold yellow, teal, and violet color scheme to stand out.
After feedback, I refined my poster design, making it bolder and more youthful. I also developed a unique trapezoid-shaped box, breaking away from standard packaging.
